Load Reductions & Load Shifting

Load reductions (shedding) and Load Shifting, known as Demand Response by energy sector players, require energy customers to be enrolled in these energy programs allowing their energy to be remotely and automatically adjusted (most often the HVAC and hot water heating). The platform offers rewards to keep participation from people high and ongoing in these programs. Tokens for participation in Demand Response programs is a viable application and one of the first ones WEC will be supporting.
